During lock down myself, like many others, was forced to work from home and attempt to balance a young family with a growing business.

Achieving this from the spare bedroom put undue stress on both home and work life.

I looked into a garden office during the first lockdown but could find no local or regional company that could provide a complete service.

Yes there were prefab units available to purchase – but who would build them?

How would I complete the required groundworks?How would I connect the power and internet? It just seemed like it would be too much of a challenge to complete the project on my own.

Then luckily through a recommendation we found The Green Room Company.

An informal chat quickly turned into a socially distanced site visit. Within days we had a detailed room plan and time scale for construction with multiple options on everything from internal and external finish to electrics and lighting. A few weeks later the installation began and this was just as easy.

The project was managed perfectly with a core team of experienced tradesmen arriving each day over a 2 week period. We were kept informed throughout the installation and requested a couple of last minute changes which were no problem.

I now have an amazing work space and my family has an attractive multifunctional Garden Room where once there was only an infrequently used patio area.
